An elegant address in the upscale Hancock Park neighborhood of Los Angeles, the El Royale Aoartments were designed by architect William Douglas Lee in the 1920s. The historic building has French and Spanish Colonial Revival details; the front entrance is particularly imposing. Designated a Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument (No. 309) in 1986.
